Sally Rostas is a clinical psychologist with a particular interest in working with current and ex-serving military veterans. She has extensive experience working in group settings offering treatment and support to veterans and first responders. Initially starting her career at the Heidelberg Repatriation hospital in Melbourne, she moved to Queensland in 2008 and continued to work with clients at both the Keith Payne Unit and Buderim Private Hospital Trauma Recovery Program. She has always maintained a private practice and currently works individually with clients presenting with depression, anxiety, addiction, adjustment disorder and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
She is focused on understanding the clients experience and working collaboratively with them to reach their goals and to live their best life. Sally utilises cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), schema therapy and eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing therapy (EMDR). Sally consults Australia-wide via Telehealth.
