What are we about?
Veteran-focused psychological expertise.
During service, transition and beyond.
Veterans Psychology is a collective of veteran-focused, veteran-informed psychologists, providing exceptional, evidence-based services to veterans, organisations, government, and businesses. These services are grounded in our intimate understanding of the veteran experience, which is our unique clinical and organisational focus.
Most of our psychologists are veterans themselves, giving us a unique opportunity to leverage our lived experience when providing psychology services. Our extensive experience in providing veteran-focused psychology services means that our offering is culturally attuned and strategically informed.
Veterans Psychology provides clinical services directly to consumers including veterans, first responders and others in high-risk populations. We also offer organisational psychology services that include supervision, mentoring, assessment and training services, for government and businesses.
Our
History
Veterans Psychology was formed in 2021 by Nadia Teong, a Clinical Psychologist and Army veteran. Following discharge from full-time service, Nadia observed several opportunities for improving how we do business in the veteran mental health ecosystem. She set out to bring tailored, private mental health support to veterans, across Australia via telehealth.

From there, Veterans Psychology has grown and increased its reach. Starting out servicing clients in New South Wales only, it now comprises of 12 psychologists, servicing hundreds of veterans around the country. We offer face-to-face services in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Townsville and Cairns, and telehealth services Australia-wide. We have also expanded into the provision of assessment, training and consultancy services with our business-to-business offering, supporting other service providers and agencies with our speciality and experience.
