Maureen is a veteran-focused psychologist who has been dedicated to serving veterans and veterans families since 2017. She has a personal connection with the veteran community, as her mother was a member of the Australian Women’s Army Corps in 1943. As a senior Psychologist with over 25 years’ experience, Maureen has a deep understanding of military culture, and the psychological and interpersonal impacts of deployments and transitioning to civilian life.
Maureen supports individuals, couples, and families of ADF members (current or former serving) to help them build resilience to promote their wellbeing. She uses an array of evidence based treatments, including Trauma focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE). Maureen treats stress and coping related issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, addictions, and relationship issues. She is pleased to provide services to adults, teens and children via telehealth, and is available for after hours appointments.
