Michelle is an experienced and empathic psychologist with over thirty years of experience as a uniformed psychologist in the Australian Defence Force. She deployed seven times on overseas operations, including three times to the Middle East Area of Operations.
Michelle uses a collaborative strength-based approach, promoting positive self-growth and sustainable change to assist clients to reach their potential. She grounds her work in a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Positive Psychology, Coaching Psychology, Schema Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness. She is experienced in the assessment and treatment of clients with anxiety and worry, depression, problem health related behaviours, stress management, workplace difficulties, adjustment difficulties, low wellbeing and transitions. She offers face-to-face consults from the CBD in Sydney, and telehealth consults Australia-wide.
